.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge along the northern Gulf of Mexico will
weaken tonight, allowing a cold front to move across the
northern half of the Gulf of Mexico. The front will stall from
the Florida Big Bend to Corpus Christi Tue night and dissipate
Wed night. Moderate to fresh winds will follow the front and
prevail mainly across the NW waters Wed. Otherwise, a surface
trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula each night,
supporting fresh to strong winds over the eastern Bay of
Campeche tonight and Fri night. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the late
morning and early afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft in the late morning and afternoon. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms.
