.SYNOPSIS...A 1006 mb low west of Houston Texas is attended by
strong to near gale force winds over the far NW Gulf. Numerous
showers and thunderstorms, some possibly severe, are also
associated with this low. Moderate to fresh SE winds are
elsewhere through Thursday. A ridge will build eastward across
the Gulf of Mexico from Thursday through Monday.
