.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending near the coast of Texas from weak
low pressure just inland southern Texas will change little
through tonight, then move inland by Sat afternoon. The
combination of this trough and an upper-level disturbance moving
across the NW Gulf will continue to lead to scattered showers
and thunderstorms moving from W to E over the the N Central Gulf
waters through tonight, and over a part of the NE Gulf on Sat.
Otherwise, high pressure will extend from the Mid-Atlantic coast
south-southwest to across the Gulf through early next week.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt between 90W and 94W, and 
E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt W of 94W becoming S to SW less than 5
kt in the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Winds and seas higher in 
and near scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms between 
90W and 94W.
.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt between 90W and 94W, and E to SE
winds 5 to 10 kt W of 94W. Seas 5 to 7 ft, except 4 to 6 ft in E
to SE swell W of 94W. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms
between 90W and 94W early. Isolated showers W of 94W.
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated
showers.
