.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Mississippi Delta to
Veracruz Mexico will reach the Port of Tampa to Yucatan Channel
this evening, and continue east passing through the Bahama
Channel on Sat night. Strong to near gale force southerly flow
and scattered thunderstorms will precede the front across the
eastern Gulf of Mexico. Strong to near gale force northwesterly
flow will continue west of the front through sunrise Sat with an
embedded area of gale conditions across the west-central waters
early this afternoon. Moderate west flow expected on Sat evening
as the seas subside. Light northerly winds forecast on Mon.
Moderate return flow will set up across the northwest waters on
Tue with broad low pressure developing over the southwest gulf.
