.SYNOPSIS...Former stationary front transitioned to a cold front
that extends from SE Louisiana near 29N91W to a 1016 mb low near
27N94W to 23N95W to north of Tampico near 23N98W. Scattered
showers and tstms associated with this front are N of 26N
between 85W and 95W. The portion of the front N of the low pres
center will continue to move E and extend from Tampa Bay to
25N92W on Wed morning while the remainder front will stall over
Mexican adjacent waters with the tail reaching the western Bay
of Campeche. Fresh to strong north winds are forecast west of
the front all the way to the Bay of Campeche starting tonight
and continuing through Wed morning. The stationary front then
will drift northwestward to the NW Gulf where its remnants will
transition to a low pres center early on Thu. The low will track
eastward across the northern Gulf through Fri accompanied by
fresh to strong winds.
