.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front is expected to move off the
Texas coast early Thu with strong S to SW winds ahead of it, and
gale-force wind gusts through Thu. A squall line with strong to
near severe thunderstorms is expected over the northern Gulf
tonight through Thu evening ahead of the front. The front will
reach from the mouth of the Mississippi River to just south of
Veracruz, Mexico Thu evening, from near Cedar Key, FL to the
central Yucatan Peninsula Fri evening, then stall across the
Straits of Florida to Cancun, Mexico Sat morning before drifting
NW through Sat evening and lifting N of area Sun.
