.SYNOPSIS...Scattered showers and tstms associated with a
surface trough are affecting the offshore waters of Texas and
Louisiana. This precipitation activity will prevail through Sun
morning as the trough dissipate. A second trough is in the
western Bay of Campeche with similar shower activity affecting
the region of Veracruz. A tropical wave over the Yucatan
Peninsula moving to the Bay of Campeche Sun will prolong the
convective activity in the SW basin through early on Mon.
Otherwise, broad high pressure N of the area will support mainly
gentle to moderate easterly flow across the basin.
