.SYNOPSIS...A 1014 mb surface high near 28N94W extends a ridge
SE to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough, extending
southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone Florence, will
linger across the north-central gulf waters through early Tue.
The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will move west across
Yucatan Channel on Tue and Wed and across the southwest gulf
waters on Thu as the ridge shifts and reorganizes W to E across
the northern Gulf. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Slight chance
of thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E late, then,
shifting to S late. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W to NW in the morning,
then, shifting to N to NE in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.
Slight chance of thunderstorms.
