.SYNOPSIS...A 1013 mb surface high near 28N94W with ridge
extending SE to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough,
extending southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone
Florence, will linger across the north-central gulf waters
through early Tue. The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will
move west across Yucatan Channel on Tue and Wed and across the
southwest gulf waters on Thu as the ridge shifts from the
Florida Big Bend to northeast Texas.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.OVERNIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to SW to W
late. Seas 2 ft or less. Chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Slight chance of
thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE late, then,
shifting to S late. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W in the morning,
