.SYNOPSIS...A surface high is centered over the W central gulf
with ridge extending SE to Florida Bay. The high will shift W to
near 28N94W today with the ridge shifting W to the Yucatan
Basin. A weak surface trough, extending SW from the remnants of
tropical cyclone Florence, will linger across the north- central
gulf waters through Tue. The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac
will move westward across Yucatan Channel and adjacent Gulf on
Tue night and Wed, and across the SW gulf waters on Thu. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Slight chance of
thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to SW to W late. Seas
2 ft or less. Slight chance of thunderstorms.
.MON...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Slight chance of
thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE late,
then, shifting to S late. Seas 2 ft or less. Slight chance of
thunderstorms. 
.TUE...SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE late. Seas
