.SYNOPSIS...A northwest to southeast orientated surface ridge is
setting up from central Louisiana to Florida Bay with a surface
high forecast to develop along the ridge near 27N92W late Sat.
The surface high will shift slightly south on Sun with the ridge
extending southeast to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface
trough,extending southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone
Florence, will pass slowly east across the north-central gulf
waters through early next week. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft early in the
morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
