.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough will develop along the western
Yucatan Peninsula during the late afternoons, then drift
westward across the southwest gulf waters during the overnight
hours accompanied by a fresh east to southeast wind shift with
the trough dissipating along 96W during the late mornings. A
surface high near 27N93W will meander over the northwest gulf
waters through this afternoon while a weak trough over the
northeastern gulf waters stalls. Remnants of the trough will
drift west and dissipate on Fri. Gentle to locally moderate
anticyclonic flow forecast across the entire gulf waters
beginning Fri night and persisting through the upcoming weekend.
