.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending westward from the Atlantic into
the northern Gulf will prevail across the basin through the
weekend. A nocturnal trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula
into the SW Gulf each night, accompanied by surge of fresh NE to
E winds.

afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
