.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from 28N85W to 25N87W and to near
22N87W will move westward across the southern and central waters
through Sun night accompanied by scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Numerous showers and thunderstorms over the
western gulf waters will continue through Sun night. The
northern portion of a tropical wave that will move across the
Bay of Campeche Sun through Mon may also be accompanied by
scattered showers and thunderstorms. Surface troughs moving
offshore the Yucatan Peninsula will produce fresh to locally
strong winds over the eastern waters of the Bay of Campeche from
the early evenings to late at night over the next few days.
Otherwise, high pressure ridging will prevail in the wake of the
tropical wave.
