.SYNOPSIS...A strong surface trough extending from near 26N93W
to 20N96W will move west-northwestward through tonight
accompanied by scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms,
some of which will produce rough seas and strong gusty winds. A
tight pressure gradient between the trough and Atlantic high 
pressure will support fresh to near gale force southeast winds 
over the central Gulf waters through early this afternoon. The 
trough will move inland over Texas tonight. The gradient will 
support fresh to strong southeast winds over much of the western 
sections of the gulf into Tue before diminishing to mainly fresh 
winds through Thu as weak high pressure across the northern gulf 
slides southward.
