.SYNOPSIS...Surface high pressure centered in the Atlantic
ridging into the northeastern Gulf will shift eastward through
early Thu. A broad surface low just north of Belize is expected
to further develop off the northern coast of the Yucatan
Peninsula Fri morning. The tropical low will move slowly
northward in the eastern Gulf this weekend, reaching the area 
near Louisiana Sun morning. Fresh to near gale force winds and
associated seas are expected east of the low.
