A thermal trough will develop during the evening hours in the Yucatan Peninsula, then move west across the southwest waters during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each morning. A broad trough will develop in the eastern Gulf today, and drift WNW through Monday. Easterly winds will begin to increase gradually in the SE Gulf waters during the middle of next week, in response to deepening low pressure in the NW Caribbean Sea.
