.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over SE U.S. extends a weak
ridge SE to the Straits of Florida. The high will track E-SE and
move east off the South Carolina-Georgia coast tonight with the
ridge extending W across the N gulf waters through Thu. A weak
surface trough will move W off SW Florida tonight and across the
eastern gulf Mon, followed by moderate to locally fresh E to SE
winds through Tue as it becomes diffuse over the north-central
gulf. Fresh to strong NE to E winds will develop over the far SE
Gulf and Straits of Florida beginning Tue, and continue through
early Thu as high pressure builds southeastward over the western
Atlantic.
