.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong S to SE winds are ongoing the NW Gulf
ahead of a late season cold front that will move off the Texas 
coast early Sat morning. Strong northerly winds will follow the 
front, reaching gale force off Tampico and Veracruz by late Sat as
the front reaches from western Florida Panhandle to the northwest
Yucatan peninsula. The front will sweep across the southeast Gulf
by late Sun. Winds and seas will diminish from west to east 
through Mon as high pressure builds across the northern Gulf in 
the wake of the front through Tue. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt shifting NW late along the
Texas coast. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Patchy fog within 30 nm early in the
period with thunderstorms likely late.
.SAT...S to SW winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to NW in the
afternoon. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered showers.
