An east to west ridge meandering across the northern coastal plains today will retract east on Tue ahead of a cold front moving into the northwest gulf waters on Tue night. The front will dissect the gulf waters from the Florida Big Bend to Veracruz Mexico on Wed, then weaken across the southern gulf waters on Thu, and then gradually dissipate on Thu night into Fri.
