A cold front will reach the Texas late Tue night, and move across the NW gulf during Wed morning, reach from N-central Florida to near 25N90W and to near Veracruz Mexico by Wed evening, then weaken across the southern portion of the gulf waters on Thu. Fresh to strong NE winds will follow in behind the front becoming mainly moderate to fresh NE to E winds on Thu as high pres ridging over the northern gulf slides eastward. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula during the afternoons, drift west across the eastern Bay of Campeche during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW gulf by late each morning through Thu.
