.SYNOPSIS...A surface high is centered near Tampa Bay with a
ridge extending west along 27N. The high will shift south over
the southeast gulf waters this weekend with a ridge extending
northwest to the Texas coast. The ridge will retract east on Sun
night ahead of a cold front moving offshore Texas on Mon. The
front will extend from the Florida Panhandle to Veracruz Mexico
early Tue, and pass through the Straits of Florida late Tue
night.
