.SYNOPSIS...A cold front crossing the NW Gulf will move SE
across the entire basin today, then the Straits of Florida this
evening. Brief gale force winds are expected behind the front
over the far W Gulf today, and in the SW Gulf this afternoon
until around midnight. Strong northerly winds elsewhere in the
wake of the front will diminish from the NW through tonight. A
ridge will extend from NE Texas to the Straits of Florida on
Tue, then high pres will become centered over the NE Gulf Thu
through Fri night.

.TODAY...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft,subsiding
to 3 to 5 ft late.
