.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move off the Texas coast this
afternoon, then move SE across the entire basin through Mon, and
across the Straits of Florida on Mon evening. A brief gale is
expected behind the front over the far W Gulf Mon, then SW gulf
late Mon. Strong northerly winds elsewhere in the wake of the
front will diminish from the NW through Mon night. A ridge will
extend from NE Texas to the Straits of Florida on Tue, and shift
NE Wed through Thu.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Slight
chance of thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming N 20 to 25 kt in the
late evening and overnight. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Chance of showers. 
.MON...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE...NE winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 5 to 10 kt in the
