.SYNOPSIS...A ridge dominates the Gulf producing mainly a gentle
to moderate anticyclonic flow. Winds will become southerly today
across much of the region ahead of the next cold front forecast
to enter the NW Gulf Sun afternoon. The front will reach a
position from SE Louisiana to near Brownsvile, Texas by Sun
evening, and from the western Florida Panhandle to the central
Bay of Campeche by Mon evening, where it will stall and weaken.
Fresh to strong northerly winds and buiding seas to 8 ft will
follow the front Sun night and Mon.

and isolated thunderstorms.
