.SYNOPSIS...A ridge axis will meander from SE Texas to the
Straits of Florida this week, except shifting S across the
Yucatan Peninsula during the middle of the week. A cold front
will move SE across the N-Central and E Gulf waters today,
passing E of the area by late tonight. A second cold front will
move into the NW Gulf on Thu, and race SE across the entire Gulf
by late Fri night. A post frontal ridge will set up from the
Florida Big Bend to Veracruz Mexico on Sat. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 5 ft in the late morning. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW to W late in the
afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft early in the morning, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft after midnight.
