.SYNOPSIS...Northerly winds and seas will gradually diminish
across the Gulf overnight as high pressure shifts ENE across the
far NW Gulf. Fresh return flow will begin over the NW Gulf by
early Fri, ahead of the next cold front expected to move into
the NW Gulf late Fri then reach from the western Florida
Panhandle to the W Bay of Campeche by midday Sat. High pressure
behind front will support another round of strong Nly winds
across much of the basin. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.OVERNIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to S 10 to 15 kt.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Chance of
showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to NW to N
late. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to 7 ft late. 
.SAT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.
