.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Apalachee Bay to
24N90W to 25N86W where it becomes stationary to inland near 
Tampico. The cold front will quickly reach the far SE waters 
early on Wednesday, and move E of the area during Wednesday 
afternoon. High pressure building in behind the front will usher 
in fresh to strong northerly winds over the area from early on 
Tuesday through Wednesday morning. These Winds will diminish 
through Thursday afternoon as the high pressure shifts to the NE 
Gulf. The high pressure will weaken on Friday as another cold 
front moves across eastern Texas, and into the NW Gulf on Friday 
night. The front will then reach from the NE Gulf to near 25N90W 
and the eastern Bay of Campeche by late on Saturday followed by 
strong high pressure to once again bring another round of strong 
northerly flow across much of the basin, with northerly winds 
expected to reach gale force in the far SW Gulf portion.
