Fresh E winds in the northern Gulf waters will become SE across the NW Gulf waters this morning, continue through Saturday, then become light southerly flow just ahead of the Sunday evening cold front for the Texas coast. The front is expected to reach from FL Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche by late Monday, from SW FL coast to N central Yucatan Peninsula late Tuesday. Strong high pressure will build SE across the area in the wake of the front with fresh to locally strong northerly winds spreading from W to E across the forecast waters.
