Maximum sustained winds are 60 kt gusts to 75 kt. Franklin will continue westward and weaken to a Tropical Depression near 19.6N 99.8W this afternoon with marine conditions improved. A ridge will meander westward from the Florida Big Bend across the northern gulf waters through Mon with a surface high developing along the ridge during the late afternoons. A trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula during the evenings, move W during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW Gulf by late each morning.
