.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will persist across the northern
Gulf through Sat, then the ridge will build westward on Sun. A
thermal trough will develop in the Yucatan Peninsula each evening
before pushing offshore into the SW Gulf each night. The trough 
will drift westward during the overnight hours, and dissipate in 
the SW Gulf each morning. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to SE in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
