.SYNOPSIS...A ridge across the northern Gulf will persist
through Sunday. Winds and seas will increase in the southern
Gulf Monday and Tuesday ahead of a broad area of low pressure
expected to move from the Yucatan Peninsula into the SW Gulf.
Widespread active convection will accompany the low as it moves
into the Gulf. E to SE swell is expected to propagate from the
far south-central waters to the NW and W Central waters by mid-
week.
