.SYNOPSIS...A middle to upper-level low pressure center near 27N50W
extends southwestward across Puerto Rico and Hispaniola, and is 
supporting scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across 
the local area. Meanwhile a persistent surface trough is NE of 
the area along 57W-58W, while weak high pressure is centered NE 
of the Bahamas. These features are supporting gentle winds across
the area waters. The troughs will gradually weaken and shift 
eastward through late Tue, allowing for high pressure to 
eventually strengthen across the area. Look for a return to 
moderate to locally fresh trade winds across the area waters Thu 
into the upcoming weekend.
