.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Franklin is near 23.8N 67.5W at 5 PM EDT, 
moving north-northwest at 7 kt. Maximum sustained winds are
75 kt with gusts to 90 kt. Minimum central pressure is 982 mb. 
Franklin is expected to strengthen during the next few days, and
will move to near 24.7N 68.1W Sun morning, to near 25.9N 68.9W 
Sun afternoon, to near 27.1N 69.6W Mon morning, then move N-NW 
and exit the region to the N Tue through Wed. Bands of showers 
and thunderstorms associated with Franklin will continue to 
affect the local Atlantic waters and coasts through tonight. 
Moderate NW to N swell is expected to move through area waters 
through Sun night before diminishing.
