.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic high pressure ridge is centered on the
Azores high along 32W and extends W-SW to near 70W. An inverted 
trough had formed along 72W, supported by upper level low
pressure. Elongated low pressure is expected to develop from the
trough today and move slowly N-NE through Wed. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms and freshening SE winds are expected near and 
E of the trough axis through Wed night.
