.SYNOPSIS...A weak pressure pattern will allow for relatively 
quiet marine conditions through the early part of the week. At 5 
PM EDT, Major Hurricane Sam was east of the Caribbean Sea near 
14.2N 50.5W 938 mb moving NW at 6 kt, with maximum sustained 
winds 130 kt gusts 160 kt. Sam is forecast to track northeast of 
the Lesser Antilles reaching near 27N66W by Fri afternoon, while 
slowly weakening. Conditions will begin to deteriorate beginning 
mid-week as swells generated by Sam propagate toward the Lesser 
Antilles and northeast Caribbean passages.
