.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave extends from 07N49W to 16N48W with a 
low centered near 11.5N49W, moving W at 15 to 20 kt. Gale force 
winds are expected to continue within about 90 nm of the northern 
semicircle of the low for the next couple of days as it continues 
to move W to near 55W on Wed, then just E of the Leeward Islands 
Thu. The wave is expected to weaken as it enters the eastern 
Caribbean late Thu. Otherwise, moderate to occasionally fresh 
winds will prevail this week. Northerly swell will reach the 
Atlantic waters and passages late in the week.
