.SYNOPSIS...Major Hurricane Irma near 20.7N 68.3W 921 mb at
11 AM EDT moving WNW at 15 kt. Maximum sustained winds 155 kt
gusts 190 kt. Irma is forecast to continue WNW today through the
Turks and Caicos and southern Bahamas, bringing strong winds and
high seas to the Mona Passage this afternoon, and the approaches
to the Windward Passage tonight. Farther E, Hurricane Jose near
14.9N 50.6W 986 mb at 11 AM EDT moving WNW at 16 kt. Maximum
sustained winds 80 kt gusts 100 kt. Jose will pass 55W tonight,
reaching 16.0N 56.0W Fri morning, near 16.6N 58.5W Fri evening,
then turn more NW close to the northern Leeward Islands near
17.5N 60.5W Sat morning, then farther N through late Mon.
