Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters over the next
several days. SE winds on the western periphery of the ridge
will continue to transport abundant tropical moisture northward
across the western Gulf through Mon, supporting scattered to
numerous showers and thunderstorms. The stronger thunderstorms
may be accompanied by gusty winds and locally higher seas. Fresh
northeast to east winds will pulse each afternoon and evening
over the next several days north of the Yucatan Peninsula and in
the eastern Bay of Campeche as a diurnal trough develops and
tracks westward across the region. Moderate to fresh east to
southeast winds and with moderate seas over the central and
western Gulf through will diminish early this week.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak trough extends over the NE waters from a
1016  mb low centered near 31N58W, with scattered to numerous
showers  and thunderstorms associated this system. The low is
forecast to  drift NE over the next couple of days. Otherwise,
high pressure  will prevail. Moderate to fresh trades along with
moderate to  locally rough seas are expected south of 25N over
the next few  days, with gentle to locally moderate winds
elsewhere. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt
