.SYNOPSIS...Fresh SW winds are expected this afternoon ahead of a
cold front extending from the Florida Panhandle to 20N97W in 
eastern Mexico. Winds will turn to the NW and strengthen to strong
speeds tonight into the wake of the front, with rough seas 
accompanying the winds. The front will exit the basin late 
tonight, and winds and seas are expected to diminish from 
northwest to southeast on Fri. High pressure will build over the 
basin Fri, supporting gentle to moderate winds in the eastern 
basin through this weekend. Looking ahead, the next cold front is 
slated to enter the northwestern basin early next week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to
8 to 12 ft after midnight. 
.FRI...N to NE winds 20 kt, shifting to NE 10 to 15 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 7 to 11 ft in NW swell. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft in NW swell.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong SW winds will occur this afternoon 
off the coast of Florida ahead of a cold front moving through the 
Gulf of America. The cold front is slated to move off the coast of
the southeastern United States later today, supporting strong to 
near-gale force W to NW winds and rough seas in excess of 8 ft in 
its wake. The front will progress eastward on Fri, with winds 
diminishing from west to east across the region. Looking ahead, 
high pressure will build over the western Atlantic this weekend. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to 
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and W 20 to 30 kt N of
27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft in W to NW swell. 
.FRI...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft in NW to N swell.
