Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong northerly winds following a cold
front that moved out of the basin this morning will prevail
through tonight. High pressure will continue settle over the
basin through mid week. As the high pressure moves toward N
Florida, fresh to strong southerly return flow will set-up over
the NW Gulf tonight into Tue. Looking ahead, the next cold front
is expected to enter the Gulf region by mid week.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TUE...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW 15 to 20 kt in

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure near 25N55W will continue to support 
gale-force winds east of 55W through tonight. Winds will then 
diminishing to fresh to strong through Tue morning. This pattern
will also support rough to very rough seas east of 70W through 
mid week. Farther west, a strong cold front extending along the SE
Florida seaboard into western Cuba will be followed by fresh to 
near-gale force winds and rough seas the next several days. The 
front will reach from 31N68W to the Turks and Caicos and eastern 
Cuba Tue morning, and from Bermuda to Puerto Rico Wed morning. By 
mid week, a low pressure system may develop along this front 
supporting near-gale to gale force winds and very rough seas 
between Bermuda and the Bahamas. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and
4 to 6 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and N 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
