Southeast Gulf of America .SYNOPSIS...A 1021 mb high near the west Florida coast will continue to drift eastward through Sat, allowing gentle to moderate SE winds to persist east of 85W. Fresh to locally strong SE winds will prevail west of 85W through Sat evening as the pressure gradient strengthens between the aforementioned high and developing low pressure in the central United States. A cold front associated with the same low pressure is forecast to enter the northwestern Gulf Sat night, then sweep eastward across the rest of the Gulf through Mon. This will generate fresh to strong NW to N winds and very rough seas at the eastern Gulf.
