Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A 1021 mb high near the west Florida coast will
continue to drift eastward through Sat, allowing gentle to
moderate SE winds to persist east of 85W. Fresh to locally
strong SE winds will prevail west of 85W through Sat evening as
the pressure gradient strengthens between the aforementioned
high and developing low pressure in the central United States. A
cold front associated with the same low pressure is forecast to
enter the northwestern Gulf Sat night, then sweep eastward across
the rest of the Gulf through Mon. This will generate fresh to
strong NW to N winds and very rough seas at the eastern Gulf.
Looking ahead, high pressure will rebuild across the basin early 
next week.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure currently over the northwest Bahamas 
will shift eastward into the western Atlantic, as a complex low 
pressure system strengthens north of the area. The pressure 
gradient between these features will support moderate to fresh SW 
winds north of 29N and west of 70W by late tonight, and west of 
60W on Sat. Looking ahead, a cold front is anticipated to exit the
coast of the southeastern United States early next week, causing 
fresh to locally near-gale winds and very rough seas east of 
Florida, and northeast of the Bahamas. Some of these winds might 
reach gale force Mon night through Tue.
