Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...Locally rough seas in N swell across the southeastern
Gulf of America will subside overnight. Otherwise, a 1017 mb high
in the north-central Gulf will drift eastward through Sat, 
leading to gentle to moderate E to SE winds east of 88W. A cold 
front is slated to enter the northwestern Gulf by Sat night, 
leading to widespread fresh to strong W to NW winds and rough 
seas in the wake of the front Sun into Mon. Looking ahead, high 
pressure will rebuild across the basin early next week.

.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N66W to southeastern 
Cuba will progress eastward through Fri, producing fresh to strong
NW winds and rough off the coast of Florida overnight before 
diminishing on Fri. High pressure will build in the wake of the 
front by Fri night, as a complex low pressure system strengthens 
north of the area. The pressure gradient between these features 
will support moderate to fresh SW winds north of 29N and west of 
70W by Fri night. Looking ahead, a cold front is slated to push 
off the coast of the southeastern United States by early next 
week, leading to fresh to strong winds and rough seas in the wake 
of the front. 

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, NW
winds 20 to 25 kt, becoming NW to N 10 to 15 kt after midnight.
Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW to N swell. 
.FRI...S of 27N, NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE in the
afternoon. N of 27N, NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S to
SW in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
