Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary from a 1018 mb low pressure
centered off the NE Florida coast to the SW Gulf will dissipate
tonight, with a trough lingering over the western Gulf through
Thu. Fresh to strong winds W of the front and trough will
diminish Thu as the trough dissipates. High pressure will build
across the basin by the end of the week.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front that currently extends from 21N55W to 
just N of Hispaniola will dissipate over the far SE waters today
 as high pressure builds over the area. Large swell east of 65W 
will gradually subside west of 60W through late today. A cold 
front over the waters off northeast Florida will reach from 
Bermuda to the Florida Keys tonight, then exit the SE waters
Thu.  Another round of large, long- period NW to N swell will
follow the front over the waters east of 75W Wed and shift to
east of 55W by Fri night. 

.TODAY...S of 27N, S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N 10 to 15 kt
in the afternoon. N of 27N, NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or
less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N 15 to 20 kt
