Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong northerly winds over the far eastern Gulf and
moderate to large N to NE swell over most of the basin will
gradually diminish today. Gentle to moderate breezes and slight
to moderate seas will persist Sat through the early part of next
week. Looking ahead, a cold front will move into the northern
Gulf Tue night, followed by fresh to strong N to NE winds and
building seas.  

.TODAY...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...The remnants of Milton are near 29.5N 72.5W 989 MB 
and will move quickly E-NE through Sat, while gradually 
weakening, and exit the NE zones Sun. Large NE swell and strong NE
winds from this system will impact the area waters through Fri 
night then gradually subside through the weekend. Looking ahead, 
winds and seas will diminish across the region early next week as 
high pressure builds over the area.

.TODAY...NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft in NE swell. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE
swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NE to E swell.
