Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge will remain in place from the eastern
U.S. across the eastern Gulf waters through Sun allowing for
gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft after midnight. 
.THU...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong winds and rough seas are northeast
of the Leeward Islands, on the north side of a tropical wave
moving into the area today. The tropical wave and attendant
winds and seas will shift to the north of Puerto Rico and
Hispaniola through Thu. A trough will continue to move northwest
 across the Bahamas Fri and Fri night, then move north-
northeast  of the Bahamas Sat and Sun. There is some potential
for a tropical depression to form late this week in the vicinity
of the Bahamas  or Florida over the weekend.

10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft.
