Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A slowly moving cold front extends from the Florida
Big Bend in the northeast Gulf to 1009 mb low pressure near
25N94W to Merida, Mexico. Fresh to strong NE winds and moderate
to rough seas follow the front across the Gulf as it moves
southeast of the basin Thu. Looking ahead, these winds and seas
will subside Thu night into Fri as high pressure moves across
the northern Gulf in the wake of the front. Looking ahead, this
pattern will also support fresh E to SE winds across the western
Gulf through Mon. 

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.FRI...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure south of Bermuda near 29N65W will drift
southeast and dissipate through Thu. An area of strong to near-
gale force winds and rough to very rough seas active to the
northeast of the low will gradually shift to the east of 55W
through Thu accordingly. Farther west, a cold front will move
off the northeast Florida coast early Thu, and reach from
Bermuda to eastern Cuba by early Fri, from 31N55W to the Mona
Passage by early Sat, then move east of the area Sun. Strong
winds and rough seas will follow the front, then diminish from
west to east as high pressure build eastward along roughly 29N
in the wake of the front. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.THU...SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NW to N
20 to 30 kt N of 27N. Seas 6 to 9 ft in NW to N swell. 
.FRI...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
