Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A subtropical ridge over the western Atlantic will
continue to exert its influence across the SE Gulf waters over 
the next few days. Moderate to occasionally fresh E-SE winds are 
forecast into the weekend. A weak cold front will enter the NW 
Gulf waters Fri and slide eastward. A stronger cold front will 
move across the area late this weekend into early next week, 
resulting in an increase in winds and seas behind the boundary. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A broad high pressure will persist across the area 
during the next few days, then shift eastward this weekend 
enabling a cold front to move into the NW waters early next week. 
Tightening pressure gradient behind the front will support fresh 
to strong winds late Mon into Tue off NE Florida and over the 
western Atlantic, north of 28N. Conditions will improve by 
midweek. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft after midnight. 
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
