Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will dominate the Gulf waters through
the week. Gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas
will prevail through Wed, then winds will increase to moderate
to fresh speeds over the west-central Gulf Thu through Fri
night. Fresh to locally strong winds will pulse near and to the
NW of the Yucatan Peninsula each night and early morning hours
due to local effects.

.TUE...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N56W to central Cuba.
The front will continue to move eastward across the forecast
waters through Wed while becoming stationary just N of the 
Greater Antilles. The front is forecast to dissipate over the same
area on Thu. Strong to near-gale force winds and rough to very 
rough seas will accompany the front mainly north of 27N. Winds 
will diminish from west to east into mid week as high pressure 
builds in the wake of the front. Combined seas in excess of 8 ft 
may linger east of 70W through mid week due to associated 
northerly swell. 

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TUE...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less.
