Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from Central Florida to the
Yucatan peninsula will reach from S Florida to the Yucatan
Channel this afternoon before stalling and dissipating over the
Yucatan Channel Mon. Fresh to strong northerly winds and
moderate to rough seas are expected in the wake of the front.
Conditions will improve early this week as high pressure builds
in the wake of the front.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front just off the northeast Florida coast 
will reach from Bermuda to western Cuba tonight. The portion of 
the front north of 22N will continue to the east of the region 
Tue, leaving a weakening stationary front extending to the 
Windward Passage by early Tue. Strong to near-gale force winds 
and rough to very rough seas will accompany the front mainly 
north of 24N, through the early part of the week. Winds will 
diminish from west to east into mid week as high pressure builds
in the wake of the front. Combined seas in excess of 8 ft may 
linger east of 70W through mid week due to associated northerly 
swell. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N, SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt in the
afternoon. N of 27N, W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.MON...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
